Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to limited exceptions required by law or to complete a transaction you requested.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing
Direct us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties, including solar installers who may receive your contact details for the purpose of making you a solar offer.
Right to Correct
Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Limit Sensitive Data Use
Request that we limit the use of any sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to provide the services you requested.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these privacy rights.

Does Sun Pilot Sell My Personal Information?
Sun Pilot does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising companies for cash. However, under the broad definitions in California law, when we share your name, email, phone number, and property address with solar installers in exchange for compensation (such as per-lead fees), this may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by the CCPA and CPRA.
You have the right to opt out of this activity at any time using the form below. If you opt out, we will continue to provide you with your solar analysis report but will not share your contact information with solar installer partners.

Response Timeline
We take CCPA requests seriously and comply with all required timelines:
- Initial acknowledgment: Within 10 business days of receiving your request.
- Identity verification: We may send a verification email to confirm you are the person whose data you are requesting action on. Please check your inbox and respond promptly.
- Full response: Within 45 calendar days of verifying your identity. If we need additional time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you in writing within the initial 45-day window.
- Do Not Sell / Share: Opt-out requests are processed within 15 business days.
- Authorized agents: If you are submitting on behalf of a California resident, please contact us at privacy@sunpilot.ai for instructions on providing written authorization.

Response commitment: We will respond to all verifiable consumer requests within 45 calendar days.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Sun Pilot will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. This means we will not:
- Deny you access to our free solar analysis service.
- Charge you a different price or fee as a result of your privacy choices.
- Provide you a different level of service quality because you exercised your rights.
- Suggest that you will receive worse service or outcomes by submitting a privacy request.
If you opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, you will still receive your AI-generated solar analysis report. You simply will not be connected with solar installer partners unless you separately opt in again.
